The mission of Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica is to recognize high school achievement in Spanish studies. National Spanish Honor Society is a society for high school students who have excelled with a minimum of two years of Spanish courses. This society works to promote involvement within Hispanic communities through a series of student led service and community out reach projects. This particular chapter of José Joaquín Fernández de Lizardi also works to recognize and promote the interest of Hispanic culture throughout their community.
